About me
Nick Karls serves on the Landscape Services team at the University of South Carolina (USC) Upstate. He is responsible for multiple pollinator habitats, land restoration and conservation, and environmental stewardship. Nick earned his B.A. in Environmental Studies (Land Management and Conservation) and minor in Urban Ecology from the University of Utah. He also hold a degree in Recreation Management from Madison College in Wisconsin. Nick implemented the Food Forest and is actively involved in campus and community sustainability initiatives including Bee Campus USA and Tree Campus USA.
