David Chestnut is currently a Senior Scientist with the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services, Bureau of Water, where he has worked since 1985. His primary responsibilities at SCDES include the design and oversight of the statewide Ambient Surface Water Quality Monitoring Program and the assessment of water quality data to support Clean Water Act reporting requirements [§305(b) and §303(d) reports] and other internal SCDES needs.
