About me
Amanda Karls serves as Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance at the University of South Carolina (USC) Upstate. She is a passionate advocate for sustainability throughout higher education institutions. Current sustainability initiatives include the Food Forest, Bee Campus USA, plastic film recycling, Campus Race to Zero Waste, Free Food Alert, Plastic Awareness and Reduction Team (PART), and internal sustainability certifications.
